Chinese learners often grab characters and words from our powerful Chinese-English dictionary to create a Chinese vocab list. For teachers and advanced users, it may not be the most efficient way. This tool allows you to quickly create a vocabulary list from any Chinese text. All you need to do is paste some Chinese text into the Chinese text box and hit the Generate Vocab List button. The system will split the text into words appropriately and add Pinyin and English definitions. Optionally, if you are a Chinese teacher, you can separate the words in the text by a space or comma before you press the Generate Vocab List button. You can review and edit the generated vocab list as needed before you save it into the server so that it can be used in other tools, such as worksheet maker, bingo card maker, quiz sheet maker and flashcard maker,etc.
